Dear you that I don't know

Through the words of a little girl who writes to a stranger who has just arrived in her class, inviting her for a snack, the reader learns about the plight of refugees.

The description of the invitation, filled with a mixture of excitement and curiosity, continues throughout the album until the meeting, simply drawn.

Through this benevolent welcome, we evoke the life of this refugee before the war: a life not so different from that of the little girl who welcomes her today.

Without prejudice or fear of the other, she's delighted to discover another culture, another language, and could teach adults many things.
