Edo period, Japan. Shichika Yasuri is the seventh head of the Kyoto school of Japanese martial arts and lives on the island of Fushou Iwith his little sister Nanami. Togame, a samurai army general, orders him to accompany her on her quest for the 12 swords of the legendary blacksmith Shikizaki Kiki, which would guarantee victory to their owner.
