The big bad wolf roams the forest looking for a child to nibble on, and finds happiness in a little girl dressed all in red, sitting on a rock. When he screams at the top of his voice, she reproaches him for almost frightening her rather than running away. Questioning her, the predator learns that, these days, people are more afraid of vampires than of members of his own species. Saddened by the realization that he's "the last of the big bad wolves", he continues his conversation with the girl, only to discover that she's not only moody, but doesn't really have any friends... And when two boys come to tease her and refuse to play ball with her, the intervention of a curious wolf-vampire may just prove that she's much braver than they are.
