After a crash on an unknown planet, soldier Lucan remembers only four things: his name, his rank, that the A.I. whose voice echoes in his head is called Ven, and that she is the only thing keeping him alive.
With no other memories or links to their pasts, Lucan and Ven must evolve in their new reality, on a planet torn between rival factions.
In their quest for identity, they will be confronted by dangerous forces, threats to the safety of the civilians there. But the greatest threat of all lies in the recesses of Lucan's mind, closely guarded by Ven. If she were to reveal it, their relationship would be changed forever.
