Sixteen-year-old Wayne lives in Brockton, Massachusetts. A shaggy, withdrawn teenager who reacts violently to injustice, Wayne decides to ride his motorcycle to Florida with Del, a girl as crazy as he is, in order to recover a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am stolen from his father before his death.
