Pestle in the service of Raving Rabbids

For no less than a decade, Miroslav Pilon's Lyonnais team have been bringing these wacky leporids to life.

From second to first role

Developed by French video game company Ubisoft, the Rabbids, as they're known across the Channel, were born in 2006, initially as the enemies of the franchise's famous Rayman character. Their peculiar behaviors and actions have fascinated video game fans to the point of quickly becoming a pop culture reference.

Having understood the potential of these little white beasts, Ubisoft decided to make them characters in their own right, with their own series of video games, but also by adapting them in other forms, notably animation. And so, in autumn 2013, the TV series Les Lapins Crétins: Invasion appeared on the small screen, for no less than 336 episodes, divided into 5 seasons.

Know-how made in Lyon

Behind this success is, among other things, the quality and relevance of the sound environment. Voice-overs, sound design, sound effects and mixing are the work of the talented engineers at the Miroslav Pilon studio, founded by Franck Pitiot, in the city's 7th arrondissement.

The latest episodes, now 2 to 3 minutes long, can be seen on the French channel Boomerang TV.
